Waiting for a Clear Way
A reflection on when waiting becomes a habit and movement becomes the breakthrough.
At a four-way stop. Right at the edge of a busy road. Her blinker on, her eyes shifting from left to right, then left again. To her right, a wide-open lane. To her left, a steady stream of traffic. In the middle, a median. A clear path forward, if only she would take it. But she didn’t. She hesitated. And waited. In that moment, this lesson came to me.
So many of us find ourselves sitting at the intersection of decision and doubt, waiting for the perfect time to make a move. We tell ourselves we will begin once the timing feels right, once the chaos settles, once the road is wide open. But sometimes that moment never comes. In this episode, I reflect on how waiting too long can keep us stuck and how freedom begins the moment we choose to move, even if the way is not fully clear.
If you’ve been waiting for the right moment, let this be your gentle nudge. The clarity you are seeking may not come before the move. It may come because of it. Trust yourself. Trust the step. And remember, the road does not have to be clear for you to begin.
So much time can be wasted waiting for the "right time"! Move forward with no regrets.
